What makes Cuvée Elisabeth Salmon stand out among the range is the level of fine-ness and precision married to depth and length. The pale color clues you in to the wine’s delicacy. The palate is very nimble, displaying an ultra-refined texture with layers of citrus, bright red fruits, flowers and minerals. Elisabeth Salmon is a 50/50 blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with 8-10% still red wine blended.

The 2002 vintage is one of the greatest vintages of the past decade, right there next to 96. One of the clearest indicators of the greatness of 2002 is the way it combines ripeness and concentration with harmony, precision and elegance. 2002 produced wines of balanced power.

Even more so than usual, 2002 endowed Billecart’s hallmark harmony and precision with an intensity and complexity that’s just incredible.
