Description
Kosher wine
Yiron is a blend of 51% Cabernet Sauvignon, 33% Merlot, 9% Petit Verdot and 7% Syrah, aged in new French oak for 16 months. It comes in at 15.5% alcohol, which it mostly handles well. It has average concentration–than the ELA and reasonable for its level–without being thick and clumsy. Tight on the finish, a bit astringent, it has good focus and structure, too. This is rather appealing and it should be available at a good price point on the street.
